Thank you for helping to keep our pantry full!..
Food Pantry Bags -AUGUST 2020
The Helping Hand Pantry is serving a greatly increased number of families over 250 per week. The increase is due to the economic strain of job losses and school closures caused by current public health concerns (COVID-19).
We appreciate your help and support at this time more than ever.
We are open for non-perishable food donations Monday & Saturday 10-1pm and Tuesday-Friday 10-11 and 1-2pm (donations will be quarantined in our pod for 24 hours) or you can help us by donating to our Pantry & Family Meal Fund.
Thank you for helping! Together, we are the safety-net that our community can fall back on during times of need.
Currently needed items to pack relief bags for pantry clients
Many more families are finding themselves "food insecure" at this time. We have given out over 6000 food bags since March 21.
We are purchasing through grocery distributors in bulk and they are being delivered to HHRM by truck weekly. These purchases are offset with food donations received our food bill is currently about $1800/week which is CONSIDERABLY less than it was in the spring.
We also appreciate and need your donations. $45.00 sponsors a 2 week supply pantry bag for a family. Thank you.
We provide non-perishables, dairy products,,meats as available baked goods and fresh and frozen produce as available.
Some local gardeners have been donating beautiful fresh organic produce for us to share and we are grateful. for that.
We have been receiving donations from Target 2 days a week!
That is so wonderful and people appreciate the goods so much.
Thank you for your help during these challenging days.
Your help means the world to our families, and to us as we continue to serve through the duration of this COVID-19 pandemic.
We wouldn't be able to keep our doors open for them without your help and support. Every donation, literally every donation, matters to our community now more than ever.
We're so grateful to have your strength and compassion behind us.
