Community Closet
The Helping Hand Rescue Mission Community Closet provides new and gently used seasonally-appropriate clothing to anyone in need during our pantry distribution hours--thanks to the wonderful donors in our community that gather these items to be shared. We are currently holding our Community Closet outdoors most every day as weather permits simply because we are serving too many families to hold distributions inside of our building.

Helping Hand Rescue Mission is still focusing its energies and the space in its building on meeting the greatly increased food need--we don’t have the same capacity to sort and store items. Having clean clothes donated that are freshly laundered, sorted and ready to go out to the people makes the Community Closet possible, and we are so thankful for all the love that people put into getting these items ready for new homes. We accept all sizes, from infant to adult. We are not able to accept out of season clothing (except for newborn to 5T).
Please make sure all donated socks and underwear are new!
We are accepting household goods in excellent to new condition during our donation hours. They must be clean, sets of cups, kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen towels, freshly laundered sheets and towels or small decorator items.
